Biophos Field Research 2012 Data Summary

This research was conducted on Russet Burbank potatoes according to the label instructions of Biophos and Black Gold Respectively. The control was the standard cultural practices of the grower. The data was collected in 3 ten foot samples in each treatment. The data presented below is the average data from each of the treatments.

As can be seen from above both treatments observed an increase in the pounds of potatoes harvested in the sample with Biophos at the highest.

This chart indicates that there is a significant increase in the number of pounds per plant in the treatments as compared to the control with Biophos being the highest.

This chart indicates that there is a significant increase in the tuber numbers in both treatments

Discussion and conclusion:

As can be seen from above both treatments had a positive effect on crop productivity Biophos had the larger effect on the yield and marketable yield of the crop. This alone is worth considering the use of Biophos. However the economic effect of return on dollar spent is significantly higher with the use of Biophos.

Assuming

  • Biophos Costs $14.00 Per Acre and You receive 60 cwt. More than the control
  • Black Gold Costs $30.00 Per Acre and you receive 30 cwt. more than the control

(Results similar to what is observed above) It is costing you half as much money to get twice the results. This basically means you are observing a 4 fold economic improvement compared to the competing product.
